Sam Barber’s American Route Tour arrives at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. on February 6, 2026, bringing one of country and Americana’s fastest-scaling success stories into one of the city’s largest rooms.

Similar sounds: Ty Myers, Zach Bryan, Max McNown

The stop lands Barber squarely in the middle of a tour designed to match the size of his growing audience—no longer club-level, not quite stadium-ready, but rapidly filling theaters across the country.

Barber began posting songs online in 2021 while still enrolled in technical college, steadily building an audience through original material and stripped-down covers that circulated far beyond his Missouri roots. Those early releases laid the groundwork for “Straight and Narrow,” which broke through on streaming platforms and radio, earning multi-platinum certification and establishing Barber as more than a viral curiosity.

From there, the pace accelerated: sold-out headlining dates, festival bookings, and a debut album, Restless Mind, that cracked the Billboard 200.

The American Route Tour reflects that trajectory. Announced after an extended run of North American dates—many of them sold out—the 2026 routing stretches from Mississippi to California and back through the Southeast and Midwest, with Barber headlining larger venues than ever before.

The D.C. date will feature support from Waylon Wyatt and Wild Horses, both of whom align with Barber’s stripped-down, songwriter-first sensibility. See below for a full list of tour dates and openers: The American Route Tour 2026
