Yungblud to take over 9:30 Club with 'Idols' for back-to-back September shows

Alternative rocker Yungblud is bringing his high-energy live show to Washington, D.C. for two nights at the 9:30 Club. He will perform on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, joined by opener Sawyer Hill.

The shows come in support of Idols, his fourth studio album and the first installment of a double project released on June 20. Recorded in Leeds, the record explores themes of identity, change, and self-reclamation. The album serves as a love letter to rock music and to the chaos of life, with an emphasis on world-building rather than disparate singles.
Over the past decade, Yungblud has built a reputation for his uncompromising performances and connection with fans. He has gone from small club stages to headlining theaters and arenas across the world, while cultivating a community that embraces individuality. With Idols, he shifts attention away from outside influences and toward the power of looking inward, asking fans to take ownership of their own stories rather than crediting someone else as their savior.
